About the design

Inspired by traditional Fair Isle knitting and classic Nordic Christmas sweaters, this is an original illustrated design. Horizontal bands of small repeating motifs, gingerbread men with red buttons, candy canes, and hearts and stars in mustard and holly green, are separated by narrow rows of tiny red and green gumdrop dots and finished with scalloped icing-style borders. The palette is caramel brown, cream, berry red, holly green and mustard.
